Job Description:

Barista position at The Resort at Pelican Hill, responsible for complete opening and closing duties, setting up work areas, taking orders, preparing food and coffee beverages, maintaining cleanliness, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties
Set up necessary supplies and tools
Clean all equipment and areas
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Input orders into cash register system
Collect payment from customers
Take orders and record in MICROS system
Prepare food and coffee beverages
Ensure appliances are turned on/off appropriately
Bus coffee cart areas and tables
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas throughout day
Obtain change for expected business level
Count bank at end of shift
Complete cashier reports
Resolve discrepancies
Drop off receipts
Secure bank

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to complete opening and closing duties
Ability to set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Ability to input orders into cash register system and collect payment
Ability to take orders and prepare food and coffee beverages
Ability to ensure appliances are turned on/off appropriately
Ability to bus coffee cart areas and tables
Ability to clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment
Ability to obtain change for expected business level
Ability to count bank, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
