Job Description:

Barista position at W Sydney focusing on customer service and cocktail elaboration. Collaborating closely with venue management to create unique and vibrant experiences for guests. Part of W Hotels' mission to Ignite Curiosity and Expand Worlds.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise daily beverage operations
Assist with beverage offerings and upsells
Menu planning
Assist talent on the floor during peak meal periods
Improve guest and employee satisfaction
Determine training needs and implement plans
Focus on customer service and cocktail elaboration
Create unique and vibrant experiences for guests

Requirements:

Work in partnership with the BTWN Restaurant Management team to execute smooth operations
Complete all barista opening, cleaning, and closing duties as per checklist
Develop a complete working knowledge of all food and beverage served in the Restaurant
Ensure service is performed to expected standards and every guest receives highest quality service
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and work areas
Maintain proper restock and replenish for the venue
Perform preventative measures and maintenance on machines and equipment
Contribute to shift briefings as required
Ensure checks are closed and guest billing is accurate
Monitor opening and closing duties completed to standard
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships
