Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks at your coffee station during Breakfast service. You will oversee the preparation of all coffee and hot beverage orders, ensuring consistent quality in every drink while following established standards for recipes, portioning and presentation. You will complete mise en place and set up the caffetteria station for service, always maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment as per HACCP, correctly dating products and ensuring all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. You will help check pars and assist in implementing plans and actions to reduce waste, while ensuring all guests receive the highest levels of service and beverage excellence consistently.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate daily tasks at your coffee station during Breakfast service

Participate in the preparation of coffee and beverage items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe standards, as well as portion and presentation guidelines

Start beverage items that can be prepared ahead of time, ensuring production levels do not exceed estimated needs
Operate, maintain and properly clean coffee machines and related equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, milk steamers, juicers, blenders, and all tools used in beverage preparation
Date all products and rotate as per policies, ensuring all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, fridge pull and station set-up
note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
return all items not used to designated storage areas, ensuring proper coverage and dating
assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any cost or waste issues
control beverage waste, loss and usage per policies
Requirements:
At least two years of experience as Barista or similar role in luxury hotels, high-quality coffee shops or structured restaurant groups
Strong knowledge of Italian coffee culture, espresso extraction, milk frothing techniques, hot beverage preparation and basic breakfast service procedures
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task during high-volume periods
A team player who brings warmth, precision and energy to the guest experience
Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean professional espresso machines, grinders, juicers, blenders and standard breakfast equipment
Proficient beverage preparation skills and strong attention to detail
Fluency in English and Italian is required
Nice to have:
Previous experience in breakfast service is considered an asset
Additional languages represent an advantage
