Job Description:

Marriott is seeking a barista for their Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel who will prepare coffee and beverages, maintain work areas, interact positively with guests, and follow company procedures. The position involves lifting objects up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and assisting guests with disabilities. Marriott provides an inclusive workplace fostering diversity.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools, and cleaning equipment
Input orders into cash register and collect payment
Take orders, record in system, and prepare food and coffee beverages
Clean dishes, utensils, and work areas throughout the day
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Adhere to quality expectations and standards
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Input orders into cash register system and collect payment
Take orders, prepare food and coffee beverages
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
Obtain change and complete cashier reports
Follow company and safety policies and procedures
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Perform other job duties as requested by supervisors
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience required.
