As a Barista, you will bring a genuine passion for coffee, outstanding customer service skills, and experience working within a fast-paced café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment. Your primary goal will be to create memorable guest experiences through the preparation and service of high-quality beverages and food offerings.
Job Responsibility
Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages to the highest standards
Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and confidently recommend beverages and menu items to guests
Ensure all drinks are prepared consistently and presented in line with company standards
Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas
Assist with stock replenishment and ensure adequate supplies are available throughout service periods
Adhere to all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Receive and check daily bar deliveries, ensuring stock is accurately accounted for, stored correctly, and any discrepancies are communicated to the relevant departments
Support the wider Food & Beverage team in delivering exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
A natural ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service that creates lasting impressions
A positive, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude, with ideally at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
A genuine passion for coffee, quality products, and outstanding customer service
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso-based beverages, and café operations
Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
The ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative team player who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and progress within the hospitality industry
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
