Join our team at The Portlaoise Plaza as a Full-time Experienced Barista and be a vital part of creating memorable coffee experiences for our valued customers. Candidates must be available for a flexible work schedule: Monday to Sunday. Job Purpose: As a Barista, your role is not just about brewing coffee; it's about crafting delightful moments for our customers. You'll educate customers about our diverse drinks menu, make personalized recommendations, and enhance their visit with your friendly and professional service. To excel in this role, you'll need excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of coffee brewing equipment.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring every customer receives prompt and exceptional service
Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
Preparing high-quality coffee consistently
Taking ownership of the coffee station
Maintaining counter presentation and stock availability
Upholding cleanliness and food safety standards
Managing daily coffee station operations efficiently
Handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Keeping the coffee machine and equipment clean and sanitized
Ensuring tables and condiments are well-maintained
Working cohesively with the team in a fast-paced environment
Providing training to team members in coffee preparation
Supporting a positive, fun, and efficient work environment
Adhering to legal requirements including HACCP and Health and Safety regulations
Maintaining personal hygiene and wearing the full Barista uniform at all times
Following store policies and procedures diligently
Monitoring and recording temperatures in the deli area ensuring compliance with HACCP
Actively participating in marketing and promotional activities
Being open to receiving training to enhance skills
Assisting in any other duties assigned by the assistant store manager/store manager
