The Barber is responsible for serving clients in a friendly, professional way, while understanding that clients and their satisfaction are of the utmost importance. The Barber will accomplish this by following the principles of customer service and applying techniques effectively, creatively, and with efficiency. Utilizing strong consultation procedures to ensure that all clients’ expectations are exceeded is part of a Barber’s commitment when you become a Regis team member.
Job Responsibility
Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying the appropriate service techniques
Recommend and participate in all approved local marketing initiatives including depth and frequency of coupon campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and client appreciation events
Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommending services and products to help the client maintain their hairstyle between salon visits
Employ best practices for customer service ensuring each client’s satisfaction and building client loyalty
Provide quality consultations with each client, including stating the final price before the service begins
Complete all required administrative tasks (i.e., closing out a ticket on the Point of Sale (POS) system and scheduling appointments) promptly
Communicate effectively and positively with all clients, team members, leaders, and the corporate support team
Meet or exceeds productivity standards set by Regis
Being willing and able to perform all services offered at the salon
Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts to fit the needs of the business, including potential night and weekend shifts
Attend all required technical training sessions
Follow Regis policies as defined in the Handbook and salon specific operational procedures (including but not limited to bank deposits/runs, salon cleaning/maintenance, and disinfecting styling implements)
Requirements
Barber License (Required)
Possess a valid, current barber's license
