We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber /Hair Dresser to join our team, delivering high-quality grooming services to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of current hair trends, exceptional technical skills with clippers and shears, and provides a welcoming, professional experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Cutting & Styling: Consult with clients to understand preferences, providing precision cuts, fades, tapers, and hair styling
  • Shaving & Grooming: Perform beard shaping, trimming, and hot lather neck/face shaves
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, following all safety protocols
  • Client Service: Build a loyal client base by providing excellent customer service, including shampooing and scalp treatments
  • Product Knowledge: Recommend and sell hair care products, lotions, and tonics
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest hair trends, styling techniques, and grooming tools

Requirements

  • Valid barber license, training or certification
  • Completion of a barber training program or apprenticeship
  • Minimum 3 years of hair dressing experience
  • Proven experience in cutting, styling, and shaving
  • Proficiency with tools including clippers, shears, and straight razors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and weekends
  • Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, eligible to work in Canada

Nice to have

  • Experience with hair coloring, highlighting, or hairpiece fitting
  • Experience in social media marketing to attract clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent
