Job Description:

As a Barback at ...At Sloane, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will work closely with our bartenders and other team members to maintain a clean and organised bar area, assist in the preparation of drinks, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist bartenders in the preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
  • Restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service
  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist in maintaining bar equipment and report any issues to the Bar Supervisor
  • Collaborate with the bar team to deliver prompt and efficient service
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and bar procedures is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Must be of legal drinking age
  • Be flexible to work on late shift including weekends and bank holidays
  • Part-time position with potential for full-time transition
  • Involves heavy lifting and responsibilities for delivery handling and stock management

  • Competitive gross salary of up to £36,500 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week. This includes a base salary of £26,500 plus a service charge of £9,000–£10,000 per year
