Job Description:

As a Barback Attendant at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, you will help ensure a clean and organized bar area while supporting staff in delivering quality guest service. You’ll enjoy a dynamic and inclusive environment while contributing to the company's promise of 'Wonderful Hospitality. Always.'

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties
set up, stock, and maintain work areas
maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools
welcome and address guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guest service needs
read and verify information in a variety of formats
perform duties requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to grasp and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs or ramps.
