  • Maintain high standards of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Oversee daily PIER BAR operations, including bar setup, shift execution, and pack‑down
  • Support workflow during high-volume trading, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Assist in menu updates, product knowledge, and stock availability
  • Ensure compliance with RSA requirements and liquor licensing regulations
  • Work closely with the Restaurant & Bars leadership team to drive service standards
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen skills and service confidence
  • Support beverage training, bartender development, and menu knowledge
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Lead by example during peak periods, guiding the team with calm and clarity
  • Monitor beverage costs and drive responsible stock usage
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and oversee accurate breakage/wastage reporting
  • Ensure correct POS use, billing accuracy, and adherence to hotel financial procedures

Requirements:

  • Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt under pressure and lead by example
  • Results-driven with a focus on team success
  • Warm, approachable interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues
  • Experience in high-volume bar or restaurant service (hotel bar experience a plus)
  • Basic computer literacy (POS systems, communication platforms)
  • Strong communication and numerical skills
  • Current RSA certification

Nice to have:

Hotel bar experience

What we offer:
  • Free delicious duty meals including one free barista coffee a day
  • Numerous Activations and events to connect with your colleagues
  • Free dry cleaning for all your work clothes
