We are seeking a passionate and service-driven Bar Supervisor to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team. Working within our bespoke cocktail bar, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through refined service, expert beverage knowledge, and strong operational leadership. You will support the day-to-day supervision of the bar, ensuring service standards are consistently upheld while fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
Job Responsibility
Support the day-to-day supervision of bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth service delivery
Lead by example on the floor, maintaining luxury hospitality standards and creating memorable guest experiences
Assist in training, coaching, and developing bar associates to enhance performance and product knowledge
Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented to brand and venue standards
Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and current beverage trends
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, stock control, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol requirements and venue policies
Manage guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery professionally and effectively
Support rostering, shift handovers, and daily operational administration as required
Foster a positive team culture through effective communication and collaboration
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and workplace safety throughout the venue
Assist in driving beverage sales and achieving departmental performance objectives
Uphold brand standards in all guest interactions and team leadership activities
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a premium bar, cocktail venue, restaurant, or hotel environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage service standards
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and personalised service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Understanding of stock control, inventory management, and cost-conscious operations
Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to luxury hospitality standards
