As a Supervisor (Restaurant & Bar) at ...At Sloane, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests while maintaining the seamless operation and financial success of the restaurant, bar, and in-room dining services. You will collaborate closely with our team to enhance guest satisfaction and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Job Responsibility
Assist in comprehensive management of restaurant, bar, and in-room dining services
Actively participate in departmental meetings and team briefings
Monitor compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
Engage in show rounds, daily briefings, and debriefs
Interact with hotel guests and VIPs, providing VIP reports
Coordinate and facilitate staff training, including regular tastings
Meet established cost of sales targets
Analyse financial data to support decision-making and forecast potential revenues and costs
Exercise cost control measures while maintaining service standards
Familiarise yourself with relevant health and safety legislation
Act in accordance with fire safety instructions
Attend and stay updated on mandatory training
Assess staffing needs and develop plans for future growth
Coach, train, and nurture both management and hourly employees
Elevate team performance, morale, productivity, and enthusiasm
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury property (pre-opening experience is highly desirable)
Excellent knowledge of wines and champagne
Strong upselling skills and customer service know-how
Outgoing personality with a passion for creating unique experiences
Stay informed about new trends, fashions, art, and culture
Ability to speak and write French is desirable but not essential
Self-starter with creativity, high drive, and result-oriented approach
Strong work ethic and ability to handle tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong leadership skills to motivate the team and maintain a high level of service
