Bar Supervisor

• Lead the bar team during service to ensure an efficient operation and that guest needs are met
• Complete opening and closing duties, including set-up, checks, cleaning, and securing the bar/service areas
• Maintain excellent standards of grooming, uniform, and professionalism across the team
• Support stock control activities including monitoring levels, completing inventories, and ensuring correct storage/rotation practices (e.g., FIFO)
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene procedures, reporting hazards and incidents appropriately
• Assist with training, coaching, scheduling support, and motivating the team—acting as a role model on shift
• Handle guest feedback confidently and professionally, resolving issues in the moment where possible
• Support effective bar operations including organisation, stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards under pressure

• Previous experience in a busy bar environment, ideally with supervisory or shift-leading responsibility
• Strong leadership skills with a calm, positive approach—especially during peak service
• Excellent guest service skills and the confidence to engage with guests warmly and professionally
• Organised, reliable, and detail-focused, with good standards around cleanliness and compliance
• Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays (as required for hospitality operations)
