We are looking for a confident and guest-focused Bar Supervisor to support the smooth day-to-day running of our bar operation at The View. You will lead by example on shift, ensuring our team delivers a consistently high standard of service, product quality, and presentation—creating memorable moments for every guest. You’ll be hands-on during service, supporting the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring the bar is fully prepared for each shift with excellent attention to detail, you will ideally have experience in mixology as we offer a hand crafted cocktail menu.
Job Responsibility
Lead the bar team during service to ensure an efficient operation and that guest needs are met
Complete opening and closing duties, including set-up, checks, cleaning, and securing the bar/service areas
Maintain excellent standards of grooming, uniform, and professionalism across the team
Support stock control activities including monitoring levels, completing inventories, and ensuring correct storage/rotation practices (e.g., FIFO)
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene procedures, reporting hazards and incidents appropriately
Assist with training, coaching, scheduling support, and motivating the team—acting as a role model on shift
Handle guest feedback confidently and professionally, resolving issues in the moment where possible
Support effective bar operations including organisation, stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards under pressure
Requirements
Previous experience in a busy bar environment, ideally with supervisory or shift-leading responsibility
Strong leadership skills with a calm, positive approach—especially during peak service
Excellent guest service skills and the confidence to engage with guests warmly and professionally
Organised, reliable, and detail-focused, with good standards around cleanliness and compliance
Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays (as required for hospitality operations)
