Job Description

The Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional beverage service and guest experience aligned with Four Seasons luxury standards. This role supports team leadership, service excellence, quality control, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive and professional environment for both guests and team members.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise daily bar service, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to Four Seasons standards
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional guest experiences through personalized, attentive, and professional service
  • Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • Support, guide, and motivate bar team members during service
  • Assist with staff scheduling, task delegation, and shift coordination
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment
  • Monitor stock levels, place requisitions, and ensure proper storage of beverages and supplies
  • Assist in inventory counts, cost control, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling controls
  • Support menu updates, promotions, and beverage program initiatives in collaboration with management

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in bar operations or food & beverage supervision within hospitality (luxury preferred)
  • Hospitality, food & beverage, or related professional training preferred
  • High level of Spanish and English required
