Oversee and direct bartenders on assigned job expectations. Maintain policy and procedures for Legends Global while being compliant with Kansas Health Department. Oversee Club staff in all areas of service from preparing for an event to daily operation. Responsible for accurate accounting, transactions, and inventory control.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise team members in all premium areas serviced throughout the arena
Ensure high level of guest service and hospitality with a high standard of quality and cleanliness
Act as a contact person for team members and/or guests with complaints
Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain safe working conditions and a sanitary work area
Identify food orders when ready and ensure timely delivery to guests
Oversee staff to ensure they follow accurate ordering and cash handling procedures
Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information
Increase knowledge of food, beverages and other products and services
Teach current and new team members on knowledge of food, beverages and other products and services
Greet guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
Regular attendance is an essential job function
Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global venues in Wichita and Andover
Follow and enforce rules and regulations of Food and Beverage, alcohol policies, and INTRUST Bank Arena guidelines
Other duties as assigned by manager
Report to Club Manager at scheduled report time in appropriate uniform
Supervise bartenders working club/premium service areas
Oversee the accuracy and verify all cash and inventory is correct
Follow all rules and regulations, which apply, to Legends Global
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Club Manager
Requirements:
Previous supervisor responsibilities
Experience within the food and beverage industry
Ability to ensure each person on team delivers a high level of customer service with high standards for quality, accuracy and safety
Oversee and maintain accuracy in cash and inventory counts and handle money with integrity
Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
Positive attitude and neat appearance
Must speak, read and understand English
Ability to pass a background/credit check
High School Diploma or GED
Supervisor experience within the food and beverage industry and/or hospitality industry, preferred
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
A good attitude and a smiling face required
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times
Ability supervises employees and volunteers at each staffing level
Cash register operation
Microsoft Office and Excel
Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task, high stress situations
Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards
Encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
Attention to detail
Requires ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, weekdays and holidays
This position requires stopping and lifting up to 40lbs, substantial standing and walking
