The Bar Server is responsible for offering guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience. You must be comfortable discussing food, beverage and wine choices with guests in detail. You will be responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverages to guests, and clearing/cleaning tables.
Job Responsibility:
Have good knowledge of the wine list and cocktails with the ability to effectively provide descriptions to our customers of wines by the glass and signature cocktails as a minimum
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
Provide food service to guests
Assist in making dining reservations and seating for guests
Assist with the cleaning of operational areas
Requirements:
Previous working experience in a fine-dining restaurant or bar is an advantage
Good knowledge of food & beverage service
Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
Outstanding communications skills with a strong command of the English language
Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays, 5 days per week
Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, Internet and Micros
