Job Description:

The Bar Porter (On Call) at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas, stocking supplies, and ensuring adherence to quality expectations. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects, as well as interacting with guests and team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete opening and closing duties
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas
  • Follow all company and safety policies
  • Report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • Read and visually verify information
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Reach overhead and below the knees
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:
