The Bar Manager leads the overall bar operation, setting the vision for beverage excellence while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and team engagement. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, balancing creativity, operational discipline, and people development in a luxury hospitality environment. As a key member of the Food & Beverage leadership team, the Bar Manager is responsible for defining the bar identity, driving innovation in the beverage program, and maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and professionalism—true to Four Seasons values and The Golden Rule.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee all aspects of bar operations, ensuring consistent delivery of Four Seasons service standards across outlets
Develop, execute, and continuously evolve the beverage program, balancing creativity, brand identity, and commercial performance
Manage and mentor the bar leadership team, including Head Bartender(s) and Bar Supervisors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Drive guest engagement by building rapport, handling feedback professionally, and ensuring personalized, memorable experiences
Oversee inventory management, cost control, budgeting, and compliance to achieve targeted beverage cost and profitability
Collaborate closely with Culinary, Restaurant, Stewarding, and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, legal, and Four Seasons policies, maintaining impeccable standards at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bar Manager or senior bar leader in a luxury hotel, fine-dining, or high-profile bar environment
Deep expertise in spirits, wines, cocktails, beverage trends, and bar operations, with a strong commercial mindset
Confident, inspirational leadership style with the ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams
Exceptional guest interaction and problem-solving skills, with a natural ability to build long-term guest relationships
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and POS systems
High attention to detail, operational structure, and the ability to remain composed under pressure
