Job Responsibility:
Running bar operations end-to-end: Delivering smooth, well-organised service across all events
Leading your team on shift: Briefing, coordinating, and setting clear expectations
Maintaining high standards: Ensuring service, presentation, and performance are consistent
Managing stock effectively: Overseeing ordering, control, and usage to stay on budget
Taking ownership of cash handling: Monitoring tills, processes, and reconciliation
Setting teams up for success: Ensuring staff are prepared, uniformed, and ready to go
Keeping things safe and compliant: Delivering briefings and maintaining H&S standards
Working closely with operations: Supporting smooth delivery across all event teams
Supporting your people: Helping with recruitment, training, and development
Controlling labour: Aligning staffing levels with business needs
Supporting event planning: Working with Sales to ensure bar setups meet event requirements
Requirements:
Strong bar management experience: Confident leading busy bar operations or event spaces
A natural leader: Able to motivate teams and get the best out of people
Well organised: Comfortable managing multiple events at once
Great communicator: Builds strong relationships with clients, teams, and suppliers
Hands-on approach: Happy to step in and support wherever needed
Calm under pressure: Stays in control in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Solid compliance knowledge: Understands licensing, H&S, and safe working practices
Team player: Works well across departments to deliver great events
Strong sense of ownership: Takes pride in getting things right
Customer-focused: Committed to delivering a quality guest experience
Nice to have:
