Job Description:

This role ensures the delivery of an exceptional beverage experience that aligns with Four Seasons’ standards of service and quality. You will manage daily bar operations, curate innovative beverage offerings, and maintain high standards of product knowledge, consistency, and guest engagement. Working closely with the Assistants and Director of Food & Beverage and Restaurant Managers, you will play a key role in driving the success of the beverage program while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and maintain an elegant dining environment with superior staff
  • lead all aspects of team management, including hiring, training, supervising, and conducting performance evaluations
  • ensure operational excellence by maintaining consistent service standards, anticipating supply needs, and monitoring the condition of facilities and equipment
  • collaborate with culinary and F&B leadership on menu development, marketing strategies, and addressing guest feedback
  • drive financial performance through revenue forecasting, payroll preparation, cost control, and implementing strategies to improve profitability
  • act as a guest relations ambassador, promoting positive public relations and resolving complaints

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience with at least 2 years in Food & Beverage management
  • bachelor’s degree
  • strong financial and analytical acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control expertise
  • hands-on, solution-oriented approach with a proactive, can-do attitude

  • Ensure operational efficiency by consistently meeting budgeted revenue and labor expenses. Monitor labor costs and the bar’s overall budget
  • Maximize bar profitability and maintain effective controls, developing and implementing cost-saving and profit enhancement measures
  • Develop and implement operating standards, policies, and procedures for the management team. Revise procedures as needed based on experience and sound judgment to accommodate unusual situations
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget and short/long-term financial operating plans for the bar
  • Open and/or close the Bar daily according to established standards and guidelines
  • Follow and enforce cash handling procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters
  • Assist Management with any tasks necessary for successful Bar operations
  • Lead the entire Bar team through overseeing and participating in hiring, training, supervision, management, coaching, counseling, and evaluation
