Job Description:

The Bar Manager at W Sydney is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Living Room bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue, and leading a motivated team. Responsibilities include menu planning, inventory control, maintaining service standards, and collaborating with other departments to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth team management
Maximize revenue and profitability through promotions and venue programming
Develop and maintain beverage menus based on market trends
Manage inventory, ensure compliance with liquor laws, and maintain service standards
Recruit, train, and motivate bar staff
Ensure excellent guest experiences and address feedback effectively
Monitor budgets, payroll, and financial goals
Collaborate with other hotel departments and lead cross-departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

Experience managing bar operations
Knowledge of beverage control, inventory management, and food safety standards
Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, payroll, and revenue
Ability to develop beverage programs and menus based on market trends
Familiarity with local, state, and federal labor and liquor laws
Exceptional team leadership and motivational skills
Excellent customer service and guest relations skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Creativity in developing unique bar experiences and promotions
Strong network within the local hospitality community
Proficiency in using bar and restaurant management systems
