Job Responsibility
Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a refined arrival experience
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise service flow and guest experience
Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and attention to detail at all times
Prepare and maintain the host stand area, ensuring menus and materials are clean and presentable
Monitor bar and lounge areas for seating availability, guest comfort, and overall ambience
Coordinate with the bar and service teams to support smooth and efficient operations
Organise seating for groups and accommodate special guest requests where possible
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception and bar areas throughout the shift
Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
Ensure all place settings and presentation standards meet brand expectations
Uphold all health, safety and company policies and procedures
Foster positive relationships with colleagues across departments
Requirements
Previous experience in a host/hostess or guest‑facing role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high‑end venue
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of service and presentation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage reservations and seating flow effectively
Confident and professional communication skills, with a warm and engaging approach
A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and adapt to service demands
