The Bar Guest Service Agent (Bar GSA) is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. This role focuses on creating a memorable guest experience by consistently demonstrating warmth, hospitality and high service standards. The Bar GSA prepares and serves beverages, maintains cleanliness and presentation of the bar area and engages with guests to anticipate and exceed expectations. This position plays a key role in supporting overall Food & Beverage operations by consistently upholding brand standards, ensuring safety and promoting the responsible service of alcohol.

Delivering exceptional beverage service in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
Creating a memorable guest experience by consistently demonstrating warmth, hospitality and high service standards
Preparing and serving beverages
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the bar area
Engaging with guests to anticipate and exceed expectations
Supporting overall Food & Beverage operations by consistently upholding brand standards, ensuring safety and promoting the responsible service of alcohol
Completing opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors
Checking with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift
Setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas
Stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Removing soiled wares from bar top and tables
Maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Completing safety training and certifications
Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
Protecting company assets
Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards
Anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs
Assisting individuals with disabilities
Thanking guests with genuine appreciation
Speaking with others using clear and professional language
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others
Supporting team to reach common goals
Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards
Reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats
Standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight
Moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Reaching overhead and below the knees

Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a bar, restaurant or Food & Beverage service role within the hospitality industry
