Job Responsibility

Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area
retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area
sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf
ensures beer taps are working properly
places appropriate bar snacks on counter and keeps supplies stocked throughout shift
assists in opening and closing side work as assigned
buses tables in bar area
helps ensure cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas by washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors
sweeps and mops service areas including floor mats
ensures rubbish is removed from Levy areas
interacts with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
locks up and stores all bar food and beverage products and equipment
performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
keeps work area clean and organized
rotates stock using the FIFO method and reports near out of date items to the warehouse
performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Lift push pull up to 165 lbs
exposure to hot and cold environments
standing for long periods of time
ability to work as part of a team
positive attitude and friendliness
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
understanding of safety and sanitation standards
ability to work in a fast-paced and physical environment
good communication and teamwork skills
attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
basic knowledge of bar operations
willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
