Bar Attendant

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks
• Serve drinks promptly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized bar area
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and attentive service
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere
• Answer questions about the drink menu and make recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces
• Restock bar inventory and supplies, ensuring all items are available and in good condition
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying the Supervisor of any shortages
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash register records
• Follow proper cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security
• Adhere to all local and state laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol
• Ensure the bar complies with health and safety regulations
• Monitor guest behavior and manage any unruly or intoxicated customers responsibly
• Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in training new staff members as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment

• Current and valid ABC card from the TABC
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Certification from a bartending school is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
