Job Description:

Bar Attendant - Barback position at Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel. Responsible for complete opening and closing duties, maintaining work areas, stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, following safety procedures, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools
Clean all equipment and areas
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and service ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
