Job Description:

The role involves ensuring that the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. The Gold Standards are the foundation of The Ritz-Carlton and guide the team each day to be better than the next. The position is part of a portfolio of brands with Marriott International, offering the chance to be proud of the work you do and who you work with.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
Ensure place settings are appropriate
Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
None license or certification
