Job Description:

W Brisbane is hiring a Banquets Manager, an operationally driven leader to manage Catering & Events and deliver unforgettable experiences. Responsible for leading the Banquets team. Key responsibilities include managing events, assisting guests, coordinating between teams, ensuring financial controls, training staff, and maintaining a positive culture.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the Banquets team with the preparation, management, and execution of events
Assisting guests by delivering on the Whatever/Whenever service promise
Coordinating with the Banquet Culinary team and Catering & Events Sales team
Adhering to financial controls and administrative responsibilities
Identifying training opportunities and training Talent
Leading the team and maintaining a positive work culture

Requirements:

Experienced Food & Beverage professional
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt and work well under pressure
Understanding of financial controls and administrative responsibilities
Leadership skills to train and motivate a team
Passionate and driven with a focus on catering and events
