Banquets Houseperson position at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Ka'anapali, responsible for banquet setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and guest service support.
Job Responsibility:
Complete final breakdown of function by cleaning room and returning equipment
Complete closing duties including storing goods, locking doors, breaking down goods
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization of assigned station
Transport dirty linen to cleaning area, separate napkins from tablecloths, restock clean linens
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout day
Assist other departments to ensure optimum guest service
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to follow company and safety policies
Ability to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
Maintain confidentiality
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Speak using clear and professional language
Support team to reach common goals
