Job Description:

The Banquets & Conferences Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas ensures the delivery of exceptional luxury service by meeting group coordinators, analyzing banquet event orders, fulfilling special arrangements, and maintaining high standards of guest service and safety. The role involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and moving through various spaces, as well as professional interactions with guests and team members.

Job Responsibility:

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions
Read and analyze banquet event order
Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
Follow company and safety policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Read and visually verify information
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
