Prior food and beverage or banquet or event service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Responsibility

Ensure the proper setup of banquet rooms according to the event specifications
Coordinate with the kitchen and event planning teams to ensure timely food and beverage service
Verify that tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment are set up to client specifications
Manage event flow, ensuring that all scheduled activities proceed as planned
Lead, train, and motivate the banquet service staff to deliver high-quality service
Assign tasks to team members during the event, ensuring proper distribution of duties
Provide guidance and coaching to staff, ensuring they maintain high standards of service
Greet guests and ensure their satisfaction throughout the event
Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure that all special requests are handled in a timely manner
