Job Description

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Bartenders have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and acknowledge members and guests with name usage in a professional manner
  • Assist with Banquet event set up and break downs
  • Prepare and serve a selection of beverages from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards
  • Offer interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, etc
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Handle complaints and problems with a positive attitude
  • Prepare bar tops with special attention to order and sanitation

Requirements

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
  • One to Two years of bartending, restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Ability to accurately read beverage tickets and communicate with the staff
  • Ability to accurately read and work with POS systems
  • Weekend & Holiday availability required
