As Banquet Waiter / Waitress, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional and memorable event experiences, ensuring each function is executed seamlessly from preparation through to completion. Job Responsibility
Set up banquet spaces, including tables, linens, glassware and service equipment in line with event specifications
Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service during events and functions
Assist with event preparation, service and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
Transport and organise equipment, supplies and materials efficiently
Communicate effectively with kitchen and events teams to ensure accurate and timely service
Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service throughout the event
Clear, reset and maintain event spaces to the highest standards throughout service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all banquet and back‑of‑house areas
Support colleagues and assist with operational duties to ensure event success
Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times
Uphold company standards of service, presentation and professionalism
Requirements
Previous experience in food and beverage or event service, ideally within a luxury hotel or high‑end environment
Strong understanding of banquet and event service standards
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging approach
A proactive mindset, supporting the team and anticipating guest needs
