Job Description:

Ensure staff is working together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs; Responsible for supervising banquet operations including dining room monitoring, inventory, and staff management; Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and providing guidance to employees; Encourage adherence to company service standards, safety policies, and guest satisfaction measures

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure staff is working together as a team
  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact
  • Follow company and safety policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects
