Job Description:

The Trumbull Marriott Shelton is seeking a Banquet Supervisor. This position will oversee event setup, staffing, service, and breakdown, ensuring high-quality execution and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating with the kitchen and sales, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, and acting as the main point of contact for clients during the event. This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to manage timelines, resources, and staff performance. Full benefit packaging, including paid time off.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee event setup, staffing, service, and breakdown
ensure high-quality execution and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with staff and other departments

capacity to identify issues, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions promptly and effectively
skills to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and resources during events
understanding of event planning, food and beverage service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
