Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will play a key role in creating exceptional banquet experiences that surprise and delight our guests.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all aspects of banquet kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service for events of varying size and style
Prepare and present dishes for banquets and events according to hotel standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
Work closely with the Events and Banquets teams to customize menus and execute unique culinary concepts for weddings, conferences, and special occasions
Manage inventory and ordering, maintaining organized stock and minimizing waste
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe working environment
Bring fresh ideas and trend-forward concepts to elevate banquet offerings and create memorable experiences
Lead by example—mentor and develop your team to achieve excellence
Drive financial performance through cost control and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery
Minimum 2 years similar experience
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
Experienced in fast paced environments
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
