The Banquet Server plays a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our catering guests. This position requires a detail-oriented, guest-focused professional who ensures each event is executed seamlessly, creating memorable experiences for every client.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare banquet spaces by setting tables, linens, and service ware according to event specifications
Transport and set up necessary equipment, food, and beverages in designated event areas
Present and serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Monitor assigned tables, promptly removing used items and maintaining a clean and orderly dining environment
Safely return equipment, linens, and unused beverages to appropriate storage locations
Support catering operations by performing side work, restocking supplies, and general cleaning duties to maintain health and safety standards
Collaborate with catering supervisors and teammates to ensure smooth service flow and event success
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior banquet or catering service experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, etiquette, and guest relations
Strong communication skills
ability to read, speak, and write in English
Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Physically able to lift and carry 10–30 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
Team-oriented with a strong focus on delivering excellent guest service
