The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service during banquets, meetings, and special events at Dellshire Resort. This position delivers a refined and seamless guest experience through professional food and beverage service, attention to detail, and teamwork. The Banquet Server ensures all functions are executed in alignment with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintaining the elegance, precision, and hospitality that define the Dellshire brand.
Job Responsibility:
Provide courteous, efficient, and professional food and beverage service during banquets, meetings, and special events
Prepare banquet rooms for service, including setting tables, linens, glassware, silverware, and décor according to event specifications
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following all service standards
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests throughout events
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after service
Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment as directed
Support banquet captains and managers in ensuring events run smoothly and on schedule
Monitor guest consumption and comply with all responsible alcohol service guidelines
Maintain knowledge of event details, timing, and special requests by reviewing the BEO before each function
Report any guest concerns or service challenges to leadership immediately
Follow all safety, sanitation, and resort policies and procedures
Uphold the Dellshire standard of luxury hospitality through professionalism, presentation, and teamwork
Requirements:
Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic food and beverage service techniques
Must be at least 18 years of age
Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Availability for flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
