Job Description:

This part-time position is responsible for providing high quality customer service during all Save Mart Center events, to achieve customer and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Sets up each assigned catering station(s) as needed for the event
  • Will greet and service each guest with the upmost highest level of custom service
  • Enforce all liquor laws, rules and regulations which apply to ASM Global operations
  • Verify and account for all food and beverage inventory
  • Maintain proper sanitation of work area
  • Follow proper safety practices in the work area
  • Requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Suites & Catering Manager or Director of Food and Beverage

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
  • Must have knowledge and ability to set up and clean up catering stations
  • Must speak, read and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, clients and employees
  • Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of each shift
  • Must be able to carry and lift up to 30 lbs. and according to industry standards
  • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
  • Must have graduated from High School or the equivalent of the (GED) certificate
  • Must have at least 1-year front of house food serving experience in a banquet/catering environment

  • Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
  • Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment
  • Ability to work with other staff members in the facility
