Job Description:

Directs and motivates team while providing high-quality service; monitors financial and administrative responsibilities; plans strategies to meet goals; leads banquet teams and ensures exceptional customer service at all levels.

Job Responsibility:

Projects supply needs for the department
applies knowledge of all laws
manages activities to maximize customer satisfaction
maintains sanitation levels
manages inventories and equipment
controls liquor costs
schedules banquet service staff
sets goals and delegates tasks
leads shifts and actively participates in events
interacts with guests to obtain feedback
responds and handles guest problems
develops corrective action plans
attends and participates in meetings.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of food and wine pairings
cutting edge cuisine with emphasis on current event trends.
