Job Responsibility:
Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the client before events
Transport awkward and heavy materials (staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors) from storage area to meeting rooms
Replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water during events
Break down meeting rooms and return items to storage or reset for the next function after events
Maintain an established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms
Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to read banquet event orders, floor plans, and task lists
Can-do attitude
Willingness to help co-workers
Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms (e.g., different table types)
Ability to lift and move multiple tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 100 lbs. through a crowded room
Considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift
High School education (Required)
