The Part-Time Houseman will provide essential operational support for brunch service, banquet events, and internal hotel functions. This role ensures event spaces and service areas are properly set, stocked, and maintained to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with brunch setup, including tables, chairs, linen, buffet areas, and service equipment
Support banquet and event setups/breakdowns, following floor plans and standards
Assist with internal hotel events, ensuring rooms are properly arranged and prepared
Manage water and coffee station setups, restocking as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces, storerooms, and back-of-house areas
Collaborate with Banquets and F&B teams to ensure seamless operations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality or events preferred but not required
Ability to lift, move, and set event furniture and equipment (50 lbs or more)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekend brunch shifts
Positive attitude and commitment to service excellence
