The Banquet House Attendant reports to the Assistant Banquet Manager and is responsible for the set-up and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions as well as attend to guest needs and requests.
Job Responsibility:
Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order
Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition
Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans
Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely
Requirements:
Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
Candidates should have at least 1-year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment
Ability to carry 90 pounds
Must be experienced in the areas of communication
Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
