We are currently recruiting for a Regular Banquet House Attendant. This is a union, non-management position. The Banquet House Attendant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Banquets department is involved from planning, set-up and execution to the breakdown of the room so events happen again the next day – or even the next hour. From arranging the setup of tables and chairs to providing meeting materials and flipcharts to cleaning and vacuuming, the Banquet House Attendant is a part of every detail.
Job Responsibility:
Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order
Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition
Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans
Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel's receiving area and store them safely and securely
Requirements:
Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment
Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills
Service Passion
Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
