What You’ll Do: Here are just some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for on a daily basis: · Prepare food consistent with recipe cards Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs. Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas. · Operate and properly clean cooking and kitchen equipment and supplies. Where You’ve Been: You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience as a prep line/cook. Most importantly, you’re someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply. When You’re Here: This probably goes without saying but you’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
