Job Description:

The role involves preparing and presenting banquets and buffets, operating kitchen equipment, following recipes and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures. It requires at least 2 years of culinary experience and physical stamina for extended periods.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare proper plate and platter presentations for banquets
set up and operate action stations for banquets or buffets
carve buffet meats as requested by guests
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods
prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and checklists
monitor food quality while preparing food
set up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
follow all safety and company policies
report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions
support team to reach common goals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
adherence to company and safety policies
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
clean and professional personal appearance.
