Job Responsibility
Prepare consistent, high-quality food items for banquet events, restaurant outlets, and the employee dining room following approved recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
Complete mise en place and properly set up stations for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
Prepare food items in advance while ensuring production aligns with estimated needs to minimize waste
Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
Ensure all food items are properly dated, labeled, stored, and rotated in accordance with Department of Health and Four Seasons standards
Monitor food cost controls by minimizing waste, loss, and improper usage
Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards, including proper temperature control of perishable items
Work collaboratively as part of the culinary team to support smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
Culinary degree preferred
Minimum of 2–3 years of culinary or related kitchen experience
Strong knife skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours
