Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is looking for a talented and experienced Banquet Chef who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Kitchen’s cold food production area
  • Assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control
  • Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance
  • Maintain control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of division operations
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other systems
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • More than 1 year experience
