Banquet Captain

• Oversee the operations of banquet functions in the absence of and alongside the F&B Manager
• Assist the Manager in ensuring staff adherence to service standards
• Ensure all guests are content and well served
• Monitor the overall smooth running of events, both on-site and off-site
• Foster a strong team environment among staff members
• Ensure staff engagement and satisfaction in their day-to-day roles
• Step in and serve as needed during events

Hospitality Education, preferred. At least 2 years in a lead server or supervisory role, ideally in a luxury hotel/restaurant environment. Strong knowledge and passion for everything food and beverage. Strong command of the English language. Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service. Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate. Valid work authorization for Canada
